对润滑油常见的一些误会有哪些?

我们都知道,润滑油对于汽车来说十分重要,它不仅可以让发动机降低磨损、减少故障,还能延长车辆使用寿命。据网络上相关数据统计,车辆因润滑不良造成的故障占总故障的41%。由此可见,多数车主在汽车润滑这方面做得并不到位,尤其是在润滑油的使用中常存在一些错误认识,一方面造成润滑油的损失浪费,另一方面还影响到汽车的性能,引起汽车故障。

很多车主认为:润滑油的粘度越大越好,润滑油的牌号(100℃时运动粘度的厘斯数)越高越好。其实这种认识是片面的,之所以会这么想,是因为润滑油粘度越大,各个运动件摩擦表面的油膜就会越厚。油膜厚可以有效保护摩擦表面,防止磨损。但是随之油膜厚度增加,摩擦阻力也会随之增大,反而造成动力损失,提高燃料损耗。国外有资料表明,润滑油粘度降低1厘斯,大约节约燃料1.5%。

另外,实验也证明,润滑油的粘度超出要求时,还会使机件磨损增加,因为机件磨损量的约2/3产生于起动初期。这是因为粘度大的润滑油流动缓慢,汽车在低温下启动不能及时补充到摩擦表面形成润滑油膜,使得机件较长时间处于干摩擦和半干摩擦状态,从而导致机件磨损增加。

润滑油最主要的作用是润滑机械,减少摩擦,降低磨损,油量不足时会加速润滑油变质,甚至会因缺油而引起零部件的粘结与异常磨损。很多车主就认为,为了避免缺油情况,那我就加多点。事实上,润滑油加太多也是不好的。这是因为润滑油过多会从气缸和活塞的间隙中窜进燃烧室产生积炭,另外润滑油过多会增大了曲轴连杆的搅拌阻力,使燃油消耗增大。实验表明,加油量超过标准1%时,燃油消耗会增大1.2%。因此,加油要遵循“少量、勤加”的原则,使油平面始终保持在2/4-4/4之间。
